The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) sets minimum scores that candidates must achieve to be considered for admission into universities, polytechnics, and colleges of education.

These cutoff marks serve as a benchmark for institutions to screen and select candidates for various programs

For this year, JAMB has approved a minimum score of 140 for admission into Nigerian universities. On the other hand, the cutoff mark for polytechnics and colleges of education (COEs) has been set at 100.
