Just a week to the commencement of the examination, you will have to print out your JAMB slip which will act as your gate pass into the hall which the UTME examination will hold.
The slip usually includes your registration number (Reg No), exams center, date, and time. On the day of the exams, you will not be allowed into the exam hall without thumbs printing which will be done after showing the slip.
To print the slip, you will need to visit a cyber cafe, preferably an accredited jamb registration center, you will be asked to provide your details, there on, the slip will be printed out for you.
To be on a safer side, we advise to double print the slip. Also, the slip could be printed in black and white or color. Either way, it doesn’t really matter.
Preparation Tips
Preparing for JAMB is as important as avoiding errors during the registration. Here are a few tips that could help you prepare for the upcoming UTME;
- Read and study the content of the recommended textbooks, past questions, and relevant study materials.
- You can join a JAMB tutorial center to be fully prepared. Forming a study group can be of a big help.

- Select up to four institutions that fit your first, second, third, and fourth choice. The first choice is the most important
